Are You Being Scammed By A Company?

I wanted to write a post about various fraudulent companies out there.  Some of these companies are actually formed companies that can be looked up and verified, however their services to clients are completely fraudulent.  Other companies my clients seem to come across are those that don't actually exist at all and can not be verified as a formed company through any state.  For the client, these companies may have well put together websites that claim they can help reduce your mortgage, reduce your insurance, or provide a tech support service.  The possibilities are endless but those are a few I seem to be getting lately.  If the offer seems too good to be true, please gather as much information and investigate first.

In one case, an established company from another state claimed to be located in a completely different state and provided "tech support" to victims such as "lifetime network support packages" or "lifetime antivirus protection" for thousands of dollars.  In another case, a man provided a bogus company that didn't exist but had a well established website and even an interactive phone line with support agents that claimed to reduce insurance premiums with no deductible.  Needless to say, we helped our clients reverse these funds and track down those responsible regardless of how hidden they tried to make themselves.

Here at Fox Investigations, we utilize multiple databases that quickly allow us to determine if a business is legitimate or not.  For those that are, we can pull extensive business background reports as well as reports on those that are responsible for the businesses activities.  For companies that do not exist completely, we collect data through an investigation process that allows us to track down the perpetrator responsible.  This information is always obtained through professional and legal means and is provided to the appropriate authorities for further investigation and persecution.

If you feel uneasy about a company, then have them checked out by us first so you know exactly who you are going into business with and can move forward with confidence.  If you think you are already involved, do not hesitate to reach out to us to investigate the matter for you.  We are here to provide you with the peace of mind you deserve.
